hey you two, beth especially. i got a job, and some new pants. and i miss you. the world is just too big.

today was very long as was the day before it. unpacking is still hard, i may never finish. an old british woman talked to me about furniture in a thrift store as i considered buying cat glasses for my roommate. she said embroidered seat cushions were in vogue before i was even a twinkle in someone's eye. i bought shoes that turn my big toes red. there was no time for dinner but there was time for cookies.
